Must be the older I get, the more thankful and grateful I am for everything, and tears start to flow. As my mammaw would say to me all the time, the reason we tear up so easy is – our water runs shallow. Great memories made for a lifetime. Take time to remember family and friends this week and just be thankful for them." "My WORD for this week came to me as Dave and I started to watch “The Chosen” season 3 at the theatre Sunday. It was really two words – I felt God so strong as I heard Matt Maher sing “The In Between.” Jesus is in our “in between.” Good times come and bad times come – Jesus is there through it all. Jesus is our mediator to the Father. When we are in the midst of a trial or storm – Jesus is our “in between.” When we are enjoying all the blessings – Jesus is our “in between.” He will never leave us. We are so blessed to have the Holy Spirit ministering to us in every circumstance. You know even when we aren’t showing our best light – Jesus is still our “in between.” Maybe we need to learn from Jesus and be someone’s “in between.” Lend an ear, show love, encourage, be a shoulder to cry on, or just pray with someone. We all need someone in our “in between.” This one was hard to explain on paper, so I pray you have received what I was trying to say. Jesus is always there for us – even in our “in between." I pray your Thanksgiving is the best one ever. Share some love." For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

You are invited to gather for a church family Christmas dinner on the Second Sunday of Advent. The church will provide ham, gravy, and beverages. There is a sign up sheet on the round table. We are asking specifically for a variety of side dishes and desserts. What spots are still open for you on the sign up sheet, as of today? One mashed potatoes, one veggie side dish, two other dishes of your choice, and one dessert...plenty of options from which to choose! This is the time of year for Cranberry Jalapeno Jungle Jam and Cranberry Orange Juicy Jam...perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, and any holiday in between. There's also plenty of fresh apple butter by the front desk, $5 for a pint and $10 for a quart. Apple butter is delicious on a slice of bread, a piece of toast, or used in so many different flavor-filled recipes. Check some ideas out here for using apple butter in your baking, your sandwiches, and more! Our crew has been busy organizing and moving things, getting ready for Christmas decorating. We have also taken time for deep cleaning, dusting overlooked nooks and scrubbing walls. Dust bunnies and germs are no match for our hard-working folks! Today we have enjoyed decorating the church for Christmas and gathering to celebrate Dustin's birthday. Thanks to all who came out today! We are closed Thursday through Monday for Thanksgiving Break. We will resume our normal schedule on Tuesday. All of us at GG wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving! At this special time of being grateful...we are all grateful for your interest and support. We couldn't do what we do here without all of you! Next weekend, December 3 & 4, we will be out in the community for Christmas shows. That Saturday we will be at the Canfield Senior Class Craft Show at the high school from 10am-4pm. That Sunday, we'll be in Youngstown at the Holiday Flea from 9am-3pm. Kitty will be manning both shows and she would love to see you at one, or both!
