Last Tuesday, we took the time to honor neighborhood volunteer, Jonathan Stutts, for his hard work in the months-long project of constructing our two new high tunnels and helping with various other tasks around the farm. Jonathan's attention-to-detail and tireless effort to put forth his best work over the past few months has resulted in two beautifully constructed high tunnels! On Tuesday, Sheila Dillon, the Director of the City's Department of Neighborhood Development (DND) and neighbor and State Representative Rob Consalvo presented Jonathan with a Proclamation and Certificate of Recognition that said,
“Whereas, Jonathan Stutts has proven himself to be a good neighbor and strong mentor, who is committed to bettering the lives of youth and young adults by passing along his knowledge and skills: Now
Therefore, I Martin J. Walsh, Mayor of the City of Boston, do hereby declare December 1, 2020 to be: Jonathan Stutts day in the City of Boston.”
