CRUZFIT LEADERBOARDS ARE LIVE

Attention Team Captains!

We're excited to unveil our new (and expirimental) Team Leaderboard feature of this year's CruzFit challenge. Now posted on our website are team rankings according to "Percent (of team goals) Complete" and "Average Minutes (per team member)". Both lists are currently only sorted alphabetically since this year's challenge hasn't yet begun. But beginning on Monday we'll begin updating the lists as often as we can (at least daily) so you can keep track of your "friendly competition" with other teams.

More importantly, this is also a great way for you to confirm that your team's Exercise-Tracker file has been set-up correctly. Please look for your team in the list (you should be able to use your web-browser's search function) to ensure that:

1) Your team is listed in the leaderboard.

If your team is not listed then you've either not yet created your team's file or you forgot to share it with us at fitlife@ucsc.edu (as of the last leaderboard update).

2) All of your team members are listed.

You'll need to have all of your team members' names on your tracker in order to pick-up your t-shirts at the end of the program, so you might as well add them in now. This also helps other teams to identify the "competition".

3) None of your cells contain the dreaded "#DIV/0!" error.

If this error appears in your team's cells it means that you've either incorrectly edited a non-yellow cell in your file, or some of your team members haven't yet selected their challenge-level. You can't make progress towards a goal you don't have, so everyone has to select a challenge-level (easy, medium, or hard).

4) No exercise-minutes have been entered yet.

Nah-ah-ah! No head starts! CruzFit doesn't begin until Monday, so no teams should have any minutes entered into their exercise-tracker yet. We discourage early-entry of minutes because it's a little dishonest and it also prevents you from developing good exercise-tracking habits for your long-term fitness pursuits. Please delete those early eentries until the work has actually been done.
