For Your Prayers

It encourages us deeply to know that you are praying for us. We look forward to sharing with you how God answers. Here is our latest update.

Please use the buttons at the bottom of our newsletter to share with your network(s) among the saints of God to increase our prayer support.

Join us this month as we raise our voices in THANKSGIVING and in PRAYER to our heavenly Father because:

   •    It's a comfort to the Christian to see God answer your prayers, month after month, year after year. Each year we gather together at the Sunday nearest 31 October to give thanks for the Protestant Reformation and the doctrines of Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone, Christ Alone and God’s Glory Alone. It is a worship filled with praise to God and a joyous fellowship of believers from the reformed churches of Camden and near Burlington Counties. PRAY that sermon preached by the Rev. Gary Englestad, Pastor Emeritus of Grace Presbyterian Church at this service will glorify Christ crucified and proclaim the gospel clearly.

   •    Our two life groups continue their studies of John Owen’s Communion with God and RC Sproul’s Chosen by God. PRAISE God for the joy of Christian fellowship. PRAY that many church members would attend our life groups every week and benefit spiritually as a result. PRAY that God would grow our church plant so that we can start a third life group in Mt. Holly.

   •    Our current sermon series continues on the Book of Genesis and the sermon for the Twentieth Sunday after Trinity (November 3) is on Genesis 3.8-13. It is the second in a three-part sermon on the Fall. Please PRAY that we would understand the Scriptures rightly and have teachable hearts. Pray that the sermon series on Genesis 3 would help us understand truly what we have lost in Adam’s disobedience and what we have gained in Christ’s obedience. PRAY that we may live as faithful exiles awaiting our final redemption and restoration in the New Heavens and New Earth.
