Stonnington City Council has put its Draft Domestic Animal Management Plan out for public comment. This four year plan outlines the programs, services and strategies our council pursues in relation to responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. Have your say at connectstonnington.vic.gov.au

In case you've missed it, the NSW government has taken the bold decision to wind up Greyhound racing over the next year. In the longterm this will be a wonderful advancement for animal welfare, in the short to medium term though many more ex-racing dogs will be looking for homes.
