Learn the Language of Social Finance with a New MOOC
Social finance classes are not just for MBA students anymore. Now, the Social Finance Academy promises to guide “social entrepreneurs through the entire journey of attracting impact investment” – online and for free. Access to Impact Investment for Social Enterprises is a MOOC or “massively online open course.” The course is led by INCAE’s Urs Jäger, Northeastern University’s own Sara Minard, and Bjoern Struewer of Roots of Impact. Sign up for the course, which begins May 3 and runs through June 28.
Clinton Global Initiative University
Northeastern will host CGIU on October 13-15, 2017. This event attracts students from 80+ countries and seeks to engage the next generation of leaders on college campuses in addressing this generation’s most pressing challenges. Up to 150 Northeastern students will be invited to participate. The application deadline is May 1. Learn more and apply here.
