In further good news, Ocean Light has been chosen as one of Amazon's Best Books of the Month in Romance for June!

It was also chosen as part of iBooks Australia & New Zealand's "What to Read This Month" feature for June! (Link will only work in Aus/NZ).

Around my excitement about the release, I'm at work on my next contemporary (Raj and Nayna's book). I'm having so much fun with these two!

Book Rec: The Kiss Quotient

I want to give a shoutout to The Kiss Quotient, a gorgeous, sweet, sexy debut by Helen Hoang. When my editor asked me to read an early copy, I wasn't sure it would be my cup of tea (I mean, the hero is an escort the heroine hires to learn about sex??? How would their romance work?!) but then I started reading and boom, I fell wildly in love.

Stella is a heroine who understands math and algorithms, but people and relationships are another matter. At one point she says that French kissing makes her feel like "a shark getting its teeth cleaned by pilot fish." And Michael is a hero to adore, swoony and patient and always there for Stella.

I ended up writing the following blurb for this book: “An unexpectedly sweet erotic romance that left me with a huge smile on my face. I dare you not to fall in love with these two characters and their story. Helen Hoang’s debut is quite simply delightful!” I still feel that way! I hope you all give THE KISS QUOTIENT a go.
