REFLECTIONS THE MORNING AFTER, AT THE AIRPORT

Friends & Partners,

These are some "morning after the vote" reflections for all of you who so faithfully brought your strength by voting, volunteering and supporting in the CPC leadership race that concluded last night. YOU ARE AMAZING.

(I am writing from the Ottawa airport where I just did a live stream with some thoughts. Click here to watch that live-stream now.)

Firstly, on behalf of myself and our team, we want to say THANK YOU.

No matter who you supported in the race, we believe that every action done for the good of our nation is essential and will ultimately have an eternal reward. Again, thank you.

In the above livestream, I shared the following reflection points:

▪ Now is the time to pray for Pierre Poilievre and his team. Please keep him and his family in prayer as they bear up under the pressures this new leadership role will bring. Please also pray that the right team will be brought around him. A team that will advise him in wisdom, truth and council that will lead the party in the right way.

▪ Please pray for the other candidates. They all sacrificed tremendously to put their names forward. They will have a lot to process in the days ahead. Please pray for protection for each one. Please also pray that wise perspectives from other candidates will be honoured and considered in the future direction of the party.

▪ Please pray for believers across our nation to continue to stay engaged--whether last night's result was what they hoped for, or not.

As those who love our nation, and have a barometer of faith, let us continue to strengthen ourselves with resolve to stay involved in shaping our nation through civic engagement.

The making of a country does not happen in a moment but as a result of those who remain faithful in the process.

We have heard from many across Canada that they feel called to run municipally right now and understand more and more the importance of involvement. This is wonderful.

Here at 4 My Canada, we will do our best in the days ahead to continue to keep you informed on ways you can influence our nation, and key bills that will be facing Parliament this session.

Thank you again for bringing your strength into this moment.
