Barnabas - The Next Chapter
You’ve met Barnabas. He’s the guy who laid the proceeds from the sale of his property at the Apostles’ feet, and they were so encouraged they gave him his name – Bar-Nabas, the Son of Encouragement.

Now the apostles hear something amazing about the cosmopolitan city of Antioch, 300 miles north of Jerusalem, on the beautiful Orontes River, on the eastern edge of the Roman Empire: there’s a thriving congregation of believers there! How did that happen?

They send Barnabas to investigate – and investigate he does. In fact, he stays and becomes their pastor. It’s here-Acts 11:19-26 says – that believers are first called Christians.

Would you follow in Barnabas’ footsteps? Come and investigate our Barnabas Ministry on Thursday, February 15, 2:00 in the conference room – and stay to minister!
