Are you an artist? We need your help!

Dream. Registration is open!

When I dreamt about making a difference in the lives of children experiencing homelessness, I never could have imagined the impact I would make and how much my own life would change...

For our fifth auction, we want to know: What is your biggest dream? What inspires you to achieve your dreams? What do you dream for the future?

By showing the world how your dreams are sparked and inspired, we can give a whole bunch of kids the tools to realize their dreams!

You can register here We need you!

Partnership with the UUCGL

During the month of April, we were so fortunate to be able to partner with an amazing group of people. The Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn Social Justice Ministry not only invited me to speak to the congregation about HFC and how we help children experiencing homelessness, they held an art supply drive for several weeks. They also sponsored and hosted a packing day where the congregation worked together to pack art packs for the Bridgehouse and Centerboard shelters. When they heard about the work we were doing in area motels, they donated additional funds to make the deliveries possible! We are so grateful to Martha Curry and the entire congregation for their support. To find out more about their congregation, check out there website here.

Speaking of motels...

Thanks so much to everyone who donated and helped us pack art packs to make our delivery to children staying in area motels possible. Our first delivery was an eye opening experience. It made me realize how much these families have to endure just to survive, how much the children go through in these situations, and how much I want to try to help these families in the future. We are still coordinating with the case workers who oversee the motels to try to continue to service as many as we possibly can.

Peace, Moira
