"We are so blessed to be called the family of God! His mercies are new to us every morning. His glory shines all around us. Blessed be His Name. Well, my garden and flowers are giving their last hurrah! I have so enjoyed the colors, the birds, the bees, the butterflies, and all the visitors in my backyard this summer. All God’s creatures great and small. No matter what goes on around us – we are still so blessed to enjoy the presence of the Almighty!" "The Word God gave me for this week is “TRUST.” My thoughts went back to when Gabe was very little, and we were at my sister’s house swimming. My dad was in the water with his arms ready to catch Gabe. At first, he was very hesitant and didn’t want to jump in - even though Dad was ready to catch him. Dad would say, “Trust me, Gabe." Before too long, Gabe was jumping in. (Sometimes before dad was looking!) But Gabe knew and had “trust” that dad would catch him. Isn’t that just like our God? He will be there for us if we would just “trust” Him in everything. “Trust” Him with our whole heart, not just a part. We need to “trust” Him in the good times and the bad times. We need to know and “trust” that God is working all things for our good. God is always looking - so let’s jump in with all our “trust.” He will never let us fall. “Trust” in the Lord with all our heart - not with our understanding but with His understanding! Have a wonderful week full of “trusting” in the Lord with your whole heart. Let Him handle it." The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. ~ Psalm 28:7 (NLT) | September Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11:00am Join us at church or online via Facebook Live: Connecting Life We're excited to welcome you to Worship, in church and online!
