We haven't shared any news with all of you since the big Record Store Day festivities on April 16th. Now that the dust has settled from the best turnout ever for RSD, we thank all of you for making this day and the entire weekend a huge success. We still have roughly 100 pieces left over from Record Store Day 2016, so come by and see what we got left.
Now let's get everyone up to speed and let you know what's going on right now and what's coming up. We still have our ((Dollar Vinyl)) boxes out on the selling floor at the shop and this will be the last week that they will all be out selling. Since RSD 2016 we've picked up on our quantities and frequency on ordering new vinyl and also we added 2 more distributors to bring in more categories of music. Many used record collections have come through in the past few weeks and we've priced and put out well over 1,000 records since last week alone.

New, Restock Vinyl Shipments + Rare Vinyl
This year we've really increased our new vinyl ordering and just over the past 30 days we've doubled our normal orders just to keep up customer demand. We encourage those who are local to come by the shop and dig through the bins, also new stuff is coming in 5 days a week. We added a few new vinyl distributors to our regular weekly ordering and there's some really great records coming in. One of the new distributors we are ordering from is a European company and they specialize in Jungle, Hardcore, Acid, Dubstep (not brostep), Hard Techno, UK Garage, Speedcore, etc. The other distributor carries lot's of new and obscure indie vinyl releases and so far what we've been getting in is awesome.
To keep up and know all the new vinyl we are getting in we strongly recommend to follow our store on Instagram and Facebook. We post up almost everything we get in through these social networks sites. Also some, not all of the new records get posted on our online store at LastRecordStoreStanding. If anyone lives too far away and you see a record you want just message us through email, Instagram, Facebook or call the shop at (657) 888-4695 and we can ship it to you.
For those who are looking and hunting for rare vinyl gems we recently added 50+ titles to this section and we seem to be getting in loads of rare vinyl lately. These records also get promoted heavily on Instagram and Facebook so keep checking our posts to see what came in.
One last important note: since we sold out immediately on the first batch of those RSD "Drumcode 5 LP boxsets" we are expecting 5 more to come in this Friday and those are expected to sell out quickly. Only 500 of these were pressed up and we were lucky to get these in. Come by the store this Friday or call to place your order this Friday.

Michael Tullberg Spring Book Signing at Dr. Freecloud's Record Shoppe!
Yes, it’s that time once again! Dancefloor Thunderstorm: Land Of The Free, Home Of The Rave author Michael Tullberg is doing a special book signing at a very special location: the awesome Dr. Freecloud's Record Shoppe in Fountain Valley! The Southland’s legendary original rave music and gear shop (21 years and counting!) is playing host to a great event, where Michael will not only be autographing copies of Dancefloor Thunderstorm, but also telling the stories behind some of the iconic pictures inside the book! And there is no shortage of stories to tell, that’s for sure! It’s gonna be a great trip back in time, to the days when the rave scene exploded out of the underground and created endless fantastic memories for those of us lucky enough to have been there! So come on down, hang out, shop and have a great time with all of us!
