Another lap around the sun for Sonia Jones Travel - it's our 7th birthday today! Making it to 6 years was a test, but getting to 7 years has taken endurance, innovation, dogged persistence... and several dozen bottles of wine!

That said, I am very proud of the business that we have built here. With a birthday of 1st July, it occurred to me that if SJT were a person, their horoscope would be Cancer. "Cancerians" are known for their creativity and sensitivity; they have a sharp mind; they approach people with compassion and with a genuine desire to help. They are often loved and valued by family and friends.

I think that myself, Amy and Sandi have unwittingly created a wonderful "Cancerian" in Sonia Jones Travel. We hope you agree with this sentiment!

Despite our passports having a "rest" and fluid domestic borders, our clients and SJT staff have managed a few special travel experiences around Australia this year. Here our a few of our top local travel highlights that we have had a hand in recently...

From Cape York to Cradle Mountain, from Maleny to Margaret River, from Broome to Byron Bay, from Kangaroo Island to Kingfisher Bay... we have had SJT clients venturing to every corner of Australia over the last year.

And now we have some wonderful New Zealand adventures to come later this year, plus more beautiful Australian holidays in the pipeline for many of you.

A reminder that if you know of someone seeking international travel with an exemption that we are able to assist with flight bookings and guidelines for what they will require in order to travel.

And for those waiting for open international travel to resume, if you are planning cruises, seasonal destinations or bucketlist experiences for late 2022 or anytime in 2023, reach out to us soon! The rest of the world is open for booking, and Australians will be left with the scraps if we wait until our border opens to make those bookings.
