Today the Prime Minister of Canada concluded participation in the Nato Summit in Wales where the leaders from the 28 member countries gathered. Primary on the agenda were discussions about the conflict in Ukraine and IS (Islamic State).

During the trip the Prime Minister explained that Canada has agreed to deploy several dozen members of the Canadian Armed forces to work with their US counterparts to assist and advise the Kurdish forces in Northern Iraq.

Additionally, on a trip to Iraq, Minister Baird announced on Wednesday that Canada would be giving $10 million to provide equipment helmets, body armour and logistics support vehicles to Iraqi forces.

Prime Minister also met with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko during the NATO summit in Wales and reaffirmed his support for the Ukraine in their fight against pro-Russian militants.

If you have a passion for Canada, love God and would like the opportunity to be a part of a nation impacting mission trip then we have exciting news for you!

This November MYCanada will be taking a team of young adults to Ottawa. Over a week these young adults will receive thorough training on how to impact Canada & be genuine history makers going forward, they will receive mentorship from some of Canada's forerunning national leaders, work, pray and play with other passionate young Canadians and meet with over 70 Parliamentarians!

The purpose of the meetings with the Parliamentarians are three fold:

1. To honour our leaders.
2. To remind our leaders that young Canadians who have a passion for Canada, and are committed to seeing traditional moral values in our nation, exist and are engaged.
3. Share our hearts with our leaders regarding issues that we are passionate about such as Israel, education, abortion, and much more.

These weeks have proven time and time again to be life changing for those who attend and nation impacting!

If you are between the ages of 15 and 35 years of age and want to be a part then suit up your laces and apply for Josiah 2014.
