We are here to pray with and for you, anytime! Prayer needs sent by early Monday morning will be included in the weekly Joys & Concerns email. We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "I pray your week has been wonderful at least and spectacular at best. I feel like Spring and Summer makes everything so much better. When we sit out in our back yard, we enjoy the birds chirping, bunnies hopping around and even the deer nudging the bird feeder so they can take all the bird seed. We need to notice all the little things that make us happy so when the not so nice things come along – we can still find peace. Which leads me right into this week’s Word for us." “CHAOS” – state of extreme confusion and disorder. Wow – just what the enemy is all about – confusion. I do not know about you but when there seems to be “chaos” around me I cannot think straight. What we need to do at that moment is breathe in the Holy Spirit to calm our mind. Sometimes “chaos” may be a way for God to be guiding us another way – hmmm – maybe we need to get quiet so we can hear His whisper. A quote by Candace Cameron Bure I read this week is that our current reality is not our final reality. Go back and read that last sentence again. So, when we are caught up in “chaos,” remember – that is not where we are staying. Pull closer to God, push back the “chaos." Worship music always helps me quiet the “chaos” and leads me into the Holy Spirit's presence. Let me tell you, there is nothing like that. Who is bigger than our “chaos” around us? God is not the author of confusion – but peace. Maybe there has been some “chaos” going on around you, I know there is in my life – But God! (As my dear sister in Christ, Becky would say). Do not let the “chaos” of the world overtake you – rest in Jesus. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Peace be still." "The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” ~ Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV) | Join the Hospitality Team Our sign up sheet is still available on the front desk. You are invited to volunteer to set up/tear down for pre-church gathering time, bring food, and greet folks/hand out bulletins & sermon outlines.
