We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "I pray your Easter was blessed. Our Redeemer Lives! The weather here has been gorgeous, and the spring flowers are popping up everywhere. Took a little walk at work today for lunch. It was so refreshing! God’s glory is all around us in everything for us to enjoy. Let’s stop and smell the flowers, feel the warmth of the sunshine, let the wind whip through our hair, and enjoy it all!" "My “WORD” for this week is “PATTERN." There are endless “patterns” for all sorts of things. Clothing “patterns,” wood template “patterns,” quilting “patterns,” grandma’s (recipes) “patterns,” artistic “patterns” – you name it – there is probably a “pattern” for it. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said – Jesus is the ultimate “pattern” for our lives. Boy isn’t that TRUTH! He is the perfect “pattern” – there is none like Him. He showed us how to live with Him being the first and foremost and to show love one to another – to serve others – to listen to others' needs – to worship Him only – to spend time with Him – in His Word – be kind – be faithful – be forgiving – oh, the list goes on and on. To love Him and love others as ourselves. We will grow in Him – there is no stopping place with the Holy Spirit – we need to always be growing in Him. We will continue to step into more perfect “patterns” the Holy Spirit leaves for us. Lead us, guide us, show us – we are ready! Have a perfect “pattern” week!" This is the kind of life you’ve been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. He never did one thing wrong, Not once said anything amiss. They called him every name in the book and he said nothing back. He suffered in silence, content to let God set things right. He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way. His wounds became your healing. You were lost sheep with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now you’re named and kept for good by the Shepherd of your souls. ~ 1 Peter 2:21-25 (MSG) | April Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11am Pastoral Intern Austin Young will be preaching on April 30, which is Benevolence Sunday.
