Prayer 8

For Your Prayers

It encourages us deeply to know that you are praying for us. We look forward to sharing with you how God answers. Here is our latest update.

Please use the buttons at the bottom of our newsletter to share with your network(s) among the saints of God to increase our prayer support.

   • Please PRAY as we ready ourselves for an interregnum (“vacancy between leaders”) in the New Year:

    - Please PRAY that the Lord will provide a paid part-time administrator       position to take up the regular administrative duties currently done by       our rector before year end.
    - PRAY that the Lord will provide for our need of clergy supply and a       lay worship team to support them in 2024. Give THANKS for our       diocese, the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word through our       Archdeacon, to support us with this work.
    - PRAY as our Rector continues to train our licensed lay ministry team in       November to lead Evensong/Evening Prayer to support supply clergy       who may be unfamiliar with the liturgy.
    - Give PRAY as the leadership considers with godly wisdom two possible       candidates.

   •    Year-end also means looking back. Give THANKS that our plant marked its TENTH birthday of its incorporation on All Souls Day, 2 November. PRAY for the financial provision of our church plant as we gather to consider prayerfully our needs and budget for 2024’s interregnal year in early December.

   •    Give THANKS for our Rector’s time away as speaker in Jacksonville Florida at the Evangelical Fellowship of the Anglican Communion. His presentation on the Application of the 39 Articles in Subscription was well received and challenged the majority evangelical clergy there still serving in the Episcopal Church.
