Meet Your REMC1 Staff

dustin

Born and raised in Centreville MI, Dustin Eldridge started his technology career at St. Joseph County ISD in 2011. He then transferred from his local community college to Michigan Tech to pursue a degree in Computer Networking and System Administration. While in school, Dustin became an intern at REMC1. After working at the help desk for two years, he became a full time system engineer for REMC1 in 2013. He is currently an onsite for Lake Linden, Dollar Bay, Hancock, and Western U.P. Health Department. Dustin is on track to graduate this May with a Bachelors of Network System Administration online at University of Phoenix.

Outside of work, Dustin enjoys scuba diving with his family, kayaking during the summer, video games, and enjoying the good times with his friends.

Upcoming Events

Google IT! We'll explore GMail, Calendar, and Chrome. Tentatively set for am November 19th - CCISD and am December 15th - GOISD. Also Google Facelift, where we will explore Google Drive, Classroom, and Sites. Tentatively set for pm - November 19th CCISD and pm - December 15th GOISD. Remember these are FREE classes.

These subscription based eResources will be of interest and use to all K-12 educators as they contain vetted information that cannot be accessed doing an Internet search. Starlab Training

To register for the FREE Starlab training you can send an email to billie@remc1.org. The training is set for October 9th from 9:00am - 3:00pm. REMC has 2 portable planetariums (Starlab) that schools can check out, but you have to be trained to use them. Students crawl right inside the portable unit to see the projected images. You can call the REMC office to get on the list and save your dates.
