In the course of his emerging jazz career, Harry Bolt has performed as sideman to Rodney Jones (Guitar & Tutor at Juilliard School of Music), gained valuable experience PLAYING alongside the likes of Dave Holland (Bass), Jeff Ballard (drums), George Colligan, (Piano/trumpet), Marion Cowings (Vocals), Mark turner , Jean Toussaint and of course Clark Tracey (drums) after joining the CLARK TRACEY QUINTET as a permanent member, from 2014. In addition to his other educational pursuits (check his impressive education CV on website) Harry was mentored by the renowned pianist John Taylor for four years. Trips to New York have found Harry playing at the Cleopatra Jazz Club, the Freakin’ Frog in Las Vegas, together with the Bohemian Hotel in Orlando, Florida and the Venice Jazz Club and Bologna Jazz Festival, Italy. In the UK he performs regularly at London’s Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 club, the Vortex, Pizza Express Soho and the Pheasantry as part of the Clark Tracey Quintet. He is much in demand as a solo jazz pianist at London Clubs and venues or with the HARRY BOLT TRIO. Raised on a mix of West End theatre and music, Harry was a prominent professional in London’s West End in musicals and pantomimes such as Whistle down the Wind, Joseph & His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz. He also continues to work as a voice over artist on TV, film and radio.
