"I pray you all are doing well. Christmas is just around the corner. All the hustle and bustle, hurrying here and there. Seems like we need to stop and pause. Take a breath and give thanks to our Savior. Time is going by so fast – we need to “stop and smell the roses.” Take time for friends and family. Take time for rest and relaxation. Take time for Jesus. Your life will be blessed." "My Word for the week is “SHINE.” Reminds me of the song we use to sing when we were young. This little light of mine – I’m gonna let it “shine.” Hide it under a bush – oh no! “Shine” it around my neighborhood – Yes!! How is your “shine?” Do we need to polish our “shine?” Has your “shine” been hidden? There are hurting people that need to see our “shine.” Spread your “shine” wherever you go. Holy Spirit, guide us to whoever needs our “shine.” We can “shine” hope, encouragement, love, kindness, compassion, a helping hand, prayer – the list is endless. Let the Holy Spirit “shine” brightly in each one of us this Christmas season and on through the New Year. I pray someone will be blessed by our “shine.” The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. ~ John 1:4-6 (NLT) | 2021 Year-End Contributions The Finance Committee reminds you that, to be included in 2021, contributions need to be received or postmarked by December 31.
