• DONATE BOARD GAME ITEM! Do you have incomplete game sets or random game boards, game pieces, dice, small cups, or cards? The 5th grade Girl Scout Troops will have badge-earning activities for Daisies and Brownies at the upcoming FAMILY CREATE NIGHT and would love to reuse game pieces of their stations. • Mills PTA will be participating in the CANDY BUYBACK again this year. Save your unwanted candy and we will collect it in the front lobby from 11/1 through 11/5.
• S.T.E.A.M. LAB DONATION DRIVE is happening now through 11/8. Please make sure to read the specific donation list before dropping anything off in the yellow bin in the front lobby. • MILLS DIRT CLUB will be meeting on 11/6 at 5:30pm and 11/16 at 8:30am.
• SAVE THE DATE! FAMILY CREATE NIGHT is coming up on Friday, 11/8. There will be plenty of activities available for kids of all ages so bring the whole family! More information will be sent out soon about purchasing wristbands.
• The PTA REFLECTIONS GALLERY will be on Thursday, 11/14, from 5:30-6:30pm. Come see all the wonderfully creative works our Mills students put together!

It's time to bring in those new and gently used coats for the annual Junior League of Austin Coats for Kids drive! Mills families have such generous hearts, and we are always overflowing with donations to help keep local families in need warm during the winter.

There will be a donation basket with a sign marked "Coats for Kids" in the entry way of the school across from the office. Just drop them off, and the Community Outreach Committee will take it from there! The drive runs from Monday, October 28 through Friday, November 22, 2019.

I'm not saying we're competitive, but let's really show our Mountain Lion spirit and win the competition for elementary schools this year! We will keep you posted here and on the Facebook page with a running tally. Thank you in advance for always showing your compassion for our community.

The Mills S.T.E.A.M. Lab is an imaginative, hands-on lab full of maker supplies, science kits, and robots inside Mills Elementary! Want to help us keep it stocked in paper towel rolls and pipe cleaners? We have three easy ways you can donate supplies this year. The lab and all of its contents can be used by every teacher and every child in the school.

Due to space constraints, we cannot take random donations! Please carefully read the direct donation list before you drop anything off.
