We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "I pray you are all doing super this week. We had some gloomy weather these past couple days, but it helped me get some “inside” things done I have been putting off. Sometimes we get busy doing nothing, if you know what I mean. Getting sidetracked is so easy to do, especially for me when I get digging into stuff that I had forgotten about. I must reel myself back in to the task at hand. Can anyone relate with me?" "My WORD for this week is “ORDINARY.” Honestly, I do not remember if I had used this in the past emails, but I just know it is what God laid on my heart. My sister had mentioned something on FB this weekend about her and her husband use to go to a festival where he would get his funnel cake. To some it would be just something “ordinary,” but to her it was extraordinary. Just a funnel cake to take her heart to special places in her memory. Then last week me and my friend Karen were sitting at the lake after dinner just watching the ducks swim around and eat bugs – something so “ordinary” but to us it was such a special extraordinary time that I know we will always remember. God takes our “ordinary” and turns it into – spectacular. We just need to look at what we think as “ordinary” and see God all over it in ways our mind sometimes overlooks if we aren’t careful. Take that extra moment and lend an ear in an “ordinary” conversation and let the Holy Spirit minister to someone. Take a moment and send a quick “ordinary” hello text to someone that has been on your heart and see God move. It is not coincidence but divine “ordinary” moments that we need to cherish. Let’s give God our “ordinary” moments in time and see the explosion of extraordinary all around us. God takes our “ordinary” and spins a beautiful tapestry of love and joy. Have an “ordinary” week that blossoms with joyful extraordinary results!" The potter can make anything he wants to make. He can use the same clay to make one thing for special use and another thing for daily use. ~ Romans 9:21 (NCV) | September Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11:00am We're excited to welcome you to Worship, in church and online! ~~~ | CLC Membership Meeting Friday, September 16, 6pm Come for pizza dinner and fellowship at 6pm.
