Here's Another Way to Wear Persper-eez

We’ve heard from a couple of women that they are attaching the pads directly to their bra, laying the bra down on a flat surface and attaching the pads to the bottom edge of the bra, then putting it on. Let us know if you’ve tried it too. info@persper-eez.com.

2018: A Year in Review

At Persper-eez, we focus on helping women be healthy, confident, strong, and focused. Through our newsletter, we aim to share information that will help you be self-aware, informed, and empowered to care for yourself as you care for those around you. Here’s a look back at 2018.

January: Reach for the Stars (Goal Setting for 2018)
The start of a new year shines with potential—new opportunities, changing bad habits into good, trying something new, finally losing the weight. It’s impossible to hit a target that hasn’t been identified. Wishful thinking won’t set you up for success, but focused goal setting will. Get tips on goal-setting here.

February: Can You Feel the Love?
So how did Valentine’s Day get its start? This particular holiday has both Christian and ancient Roman traditions behind it. But while Valentine’s Day was named to recognize St. Valentine, WHICH Valentine is the question. Learn more about this day set aside for love here.

March: Are You Getting Enough Vitamin D?
As we age, we hear about the importance of having strong bones, maintaining muscle mass, and avoiding issues like osteoporosis. Vitamin D’s main purpose is to help the body absorb calcium, magnesium, and phosphate. The body cannot absorb minerals and nutrients without it. It helps stop bone loss after menopause and keep bones strong so there’s a lower risk of fracture and falling, and also helps build muscle mass, which we lose every year as we age. Find out how to get enough Vitamin D here.

April: Can Food Affect Your Mood?
While most of us like food, we may not know there are foods that can trigger anxiety in someone already struggling with the issue, or even affect those who aren’t. The effects of food on the body has been studied by researchers, government agencies, dieticians, even therapists. The amount and variety of processed food currently in the American diet has been under scrutiny for years, yet the general public remains largely unaware of the effects. Discover what to eat, and what to avoid, here.

May: The Crazy Woman in My Body
Menopause. The word strikes terror in the hearts of men and makes women break into a hot flash. What is it, and why does it make some women feel like their body has been taken over by aliens? By definition, menopause is when a woman has not had a menstrual cycle for 12 consecutive months. The ovaries no longer make eggs, and the monthly menstrual cycle ends. While that sounds relatively harmless (even welcome news to women), the body has to make major adjustments to its new normal. Find out how to tame the crazy woman here.

June: Summer Break (No Newsletter)

July: Looking Your Best (A Bra for Every Occasion)
For most women, walking into a lingerie department can be overwhelming—choices of style, color, size, and functionality. Where to start? Bras are designed for a variety of functions—support, comfort, maximizing or minimizing, with a variety of looks—seamless, plunging, lifting, strapless. Once you decide what you need from the bra, you can choose the right one to help you look and feel fabulous, whatever the occasion. Go here for help selecting the right bra for your next event.

August: What’s Your Color?
We’ve all heard people say, “That color looks great on you. You should wear it more often.” And also, “Are you feeling okay? You look a little pale.” The colors we’re wearing can make us look fresh and healthy or washed out and tired. While the initial color craze died away decades ago, it’s still good to know what choices to make to look our best. Read more about finding your color here.

September: Beautiful Skin / Beautiful You
Aging is a privilege that many don’t get to experience, but it’s not an easy journey. Our bodies don’t produce new cells as quickly as they used to, so our skin becomes less elastic, drier, more wrinkled. Rather than focusing on looking younger, let’s focus on looking (and being) healthy. Let’s celebrate the beauty we’ve earned throughout our life, the honesty of our wrinkles, and the lines that reveal how much we’ve laughed. Celebrate beautiful you here.

October: The Benefits of Simple Stretching
If you’re not planning to run a marathon or enter an Iron Man/Woman contest, it may seem there’s no need for daily (or even weekly) stretching. However, moving our bodies with simple stretches provides benefits for both mind and body. Sedentary jobs and lifestyles not only affect our weight, but also have a detrimental effect on our skeletal system. We don’t need a full-scale stretching regimen to reap the benefits; simple stretches each day will provide surprising results. Go here to stretch yourself healthy.

November: Honoring Those Who Have Honored Us
There’s so much to be thankful for, a day is singled out for it. It’s called Veteran’s Day. While much is made of Thanksgiving Day, without the men and women who willingly served their country, we wouldn’t have the freedom to worship, live, work, eat, shop, and play the way we want. So as we sit down to enjoy a plethora of food, let’s acknowledge the many who sacrificed everything to provide the life we live. Learn more about honoring our military here.

To our loyal customers, we thank you for your patronage and wish you a healthy, happy, beautiful 2019!
