Though the Reggae/Dancehall industry is dominated by men, Karamanti stands as a strong black woman, (in her home town of Kingston, Jamaica) raining showers of
conscious lyrics to a generation far from reality.
Karamanti have been creating music since she was eight years old. Falling in love first with rap (or hip-hop), then embracing Dancehall and now passionate about Reggae. And although she has been making music for most of her life, she only began to pursue it as a career in 2011. This commitment came through encouragement from others who heard her music and convinced her to take the necessary steps to ensure that others hear it as well.

Dancehall Retaliates the first and only studio album by
Karamanti was released on April 25th, 2013. All songs on
the album were written and performed by Karamanti, with
the exception of parts of “so high” and “nobody cyaa stop we” which were written and performed by the collaborating artists. All songs were mixed and mastered by Red Boom at Frenz For Real studio (Jamaica), with the exception of “read” which was mixed and mastered at Food Palace Music by Pharfar (Denmark)

Mc du I love sound system avec Selecta kty et lady bling pendant une dizaine d'année Ozaya a pu parcourir de nombreuse scènes en tant que choriste auprès de Diana Rutherford, Bazil, Yeahmanc Neg. Lyrical. Artiste multidisciplinaire , figuratice Tv et mannequin plus, elle a aussi défilé sur de grands salons aux Champs Élysée , et notamment tournée aux côtés de Lucien Jean Baptiste , Pascal légitimes .
On la retrouve ce samedi 27 septembre avec Sublimes Rondeurs en soirée bien spéciale à 21heures @Cabaret Cléopatre. 1230 St-Laurent, MTL.
Il s'agit de la soirée Ladies Choice.

Basé en Norandie (Fr), Steppin' Forward germe en 2004 lorsque ses membres sont au Ja'Sound festival. C'est alors que commencent la construction du Sound System et la collection effrénée de vinyles.

De soirées en festivals, Steppin’ Forward HiFi jouera avec sa sono entre autre au Garance Festivalà et lors de nombreuses Dub rencontres organisées à travers la France. Ils collaborent activement avec leurs amis de longue date, The Rocker's Disciples (RockDis) afin d’enregistrer de produire diverses Dubplates.

En 2010, le Crew (I Derrick et Ranking Guigui) s'agrandit avec l'arrivée de Jr Leeroy (Dubmaker) pour atteindre sa configuration actuelle. Word, Sound and Power

Black Out Sound System est un collectif originaire des Caraïbes française. ( Martinique et Guadeloupe) . Basés à Montréal Canada et à Toulouse France. L'originalité de ce collectif est sa force d'équipe. Depuis 15 années l'équipe composée de Selector Bisso, Tchalys, Gwad et Kultcha Mighty se relaient les projets entre l'Europe et l'Amérique du Nord. Toulouse pour la France et Montréal pour le Canada. Ils s'assurent ainsi une parfaite visibilité à l'échelle internationale et sont en mesure de répondre aux exigences du milieu.

They are semi-monthly Dub, reggae nü-roots evenings, 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month,with guest on rotation to help forget about weekly stress and spend some good time with friends. Organized by the Mikaël Saxemard from the Black Out Sound System.

Reggae Nights is a concept put forward and developed by the Black Out Sound System who requires no introduction thanks to his many projects for the Plateau, Downtown Montreal, and many other venues in Québec in the past six years.

Bio:

Based in Montreal, Canada and Toulouse, France, the Black Out Sound System is a group which originates from the French Carribean (Martinique and Guadeloupe). The originality of this group is the strength of its team.

For the past 13 years, the team comprised of Selector Bisso, Tchalys, Gwad, and Kultcha Mighty have been relaying projects between Europe and North America. By doing so, they guarantee a perfect international visibility and are able to respond to the expectations of the field.
