In an attempt to bring you more valuable content from across the interwebs, this is the first in our brand spankin' new weekly newsletter. My intent is to highlight some of my favorite indie music from the past week, share tips, strategies, and other informative content with you, while furthering our direct communication with each other.

We are working on some pretty crazy and big things in the MTM dungeon including some new partnerships with rising companies overseas as well as here in the States in order to bring more opportunities for radio play, distribution and publishing, as well as gigs and tour support.

A foot-stompin', knee-slappin', gathered around the fire good time. I've listened to the EP at least once a day for the past week.

Every week Bret dedicates 30-40 hours of his time to organize, host, engineer and then edit/mix/master each episode of our Mid Tenn Listens Live review show.

We would really appreciate shares, comments, and subscribes.

For those unfamiliar, each week Bret and a panel of indie music enthusiasts get together via Zoom.us to listen to singles they have never heard before. While they listen, the panel is open to make comments. After the song ends, the panel then enters discussion about the track and then each member decides on a rating.

Our rating system is unique and goes like this:

1 - don't even let the dog download it
2 - chick flick night or someone makes you listen to it
3 - stash it on the tablet (personal listening)
4 - got caught dancing to it
5 - jamming at the red light
