When I started HFC in 2009, I had no idea what would come of it, what I would accomplish and if I would succeed. I had big dreams for a little kid and so much determination! I have had an amazing amount of support from so many people over the years, and Hope For Creativity has become more than I ever thought it could be. It has surpassed my expectations in every way and allowed me to dream bigger and get ready to accomplish even more than I already have.

I do have to say, however, a lot has happened that I never would have imagined as a 12 year old girl. I never would have imagined that only four years later:

I would have personally delivered close to 1500 art packs; that I would be holding a month long event including an auction to raise money for my organization; I didn't expect it would grow from 22 artists to 51 artists in one year, and I certainly didn't expect that on my 17th birthday, I would be finishing up a week long exhibit at the State House to show all the art and generate interest HFC's mission. I never would have imagined that companies like Disney and organizations like the Red Sox would believe in my mission enough to donate amazing prizes to be part the event raffle; nor did I think I would have an amazing space to end the event for the third year in a row....but I do.

I am so grateful for all of the support I've been lucky enough to receive up to this point, and with everyone's continued support, I am hoping that Engage will be our most successful fundraiser yet.

I was thinking about how to get the word out about the event and I had this crazy idea: If every person who receives this newsletter, likes HFC on Facebook and follows us on Twitter, or supported us in some way took five minutes a day to either click, share, or tell someone about HFC and the auction in some way... the outcome would be ASTOUNDING! In order for this to be successful, I really need all of your help in some way. Five minutes a day to make a world of difference... are you in?
