Family Types
Last month we talked about family and used the definition from David H. J. Morgan (2011) book, he found a family conveys "a sense of the active everyday work of individuals producing and maintaining family life." Several definitions of families exist, including your own. Now that you know what a family is you also need to know your family type.
This month we take a look at Types of Family Structures and answers that nagging question - what is the best type of family structure. Love to Know Blog introduces you to 6 family structures and informs you of an additional family structure just added in 2020:
1. Nuclear Family
2. Single Parent Family
3. Extended Family
4. Childless Family
5. Step Parent Family

Share this information with your children and speak with them concerning your family structure. Good to know information.

Family Quote~
"In truth a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring and love you show to one another, and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals and as a unit." - Marge Kennedy
