Irina Moroz likes to express herself through a medium that she can feel, both physically and visually. To make her soft sculptures, she uses a technique called needle felting, thrusting a tiny notched needle in and out of a strand of wool, eventually forming firm round shapes. These become the delightful pumpkins, elves and other figures that have just arrived at Clever Hand.
