Give and receive at the Abundance Swap. Recycle, re-use, re-purpose. Bring something to the swap that someone else may need and find something for you or someone you know. Resolve to FREE your STUFF. The new year is a great time to declutter, clean out your closets and consider the best ways to make use of what you have - which may mean giving it away at the Abundance Swap! Our spring Abundance Swaps will be in Pinellas County, so stay tuned!
We're volunteering at Tampa Bay's community radio station, WMNF 88.5 during their upcoming Winter Fund Drive!
We'll be volunteering during the Reverend Billy's Rhythm Revival show on Friday, February 6 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm, and we'll be staying on after that to help during the Bumpy Ride with The Rebel and The Commuter From Hell. If this time is not good for you, please consider volunteering at another time during the drive, which will run from February 3-10. But first, if you're not already a WMNF volunteer you'll need to get oriented! Just show up at the next WMNF Volunteer Orientation on Thursday, January 29, 7-8:30pm at the station at 1210 E. MLK Blvd. Tampa, FL 33603-4417. Volunteer orientation gets you a great tour of the station and briefs volunteers on answering the phones during the Winter Fund Drive. Oh yeah, one more thing: sign up online to volunteer on the WMNF's volunteer signup site, The Shiftboard.
