At Ronnie Scotts, Live on Jazz on 3, Gina paints the launch of the London Jazz Festival capturing the vibrant diversity of the event in an atmosphere soaked way. Audiences wow as they see the wet gloss, splodge mark, pencil creak, colour-zap turn into images of saxophones, tubas, drums, bass’ and their players with uncanny likeness. Catch Gina Southgate in various venues during the rest of the London Jazz Festival. She will be painting at least one gig every day ending with a grand finale painting live in the Clore Ballroom at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 19th Nov in her capacity as ‘resident artist’ at Jazz in the Round.
The work is going up on her website daily and the originals are for sale, they will be made into limited edition prints by demand.
