SPRING HAS SPRUNG

Well, not officially. When the street sweepers come out to clean the roads...this is the first indicator that Spring is finally here in MN. So, with the temperatures climbing higher every day, the sweepers should be coming out soon.

Big News! No matter when Spring finally arrives in Minnesota, the official start of the season is going to be earlier this year! This means we are also just a few weeks away to the official start of the season on April 1, 2015.
New rule change for 2015.

Minnesota - we are getting underway for Season 4 of the MN High School Cycling League and we are growing...we are estimating 60 teams for the 2015 season!

"Be sure to follow the MN League on Facebook or Twitter for updates.

LEADERS SUMMIT 2015

REGISTER TODAY!

Dates: Sat. March 21 & Sun. March 22, 2015.
Location: Quality Bicycle Products (QBP)
Bloomington, MN 55438

We encourage all coaches from last year to attend the 2015 Leaders Summit, as well as those looking to direct, coach,or become involved in any way.

Individuals from other states are welcome to attend. Plus, no coaching experience is required! Just a passion to get kids on bikes.

The primary goal for the Leaders’ Summit is to license parents and adults as new coaches for the MN League. In addition, training is offered for ride leaders, assistant coaches, or volunteers. This is an ideal opportunity for new and seasoned coaches to share thoughts and opinions – and the perfect environment to get charged up for the coming season.

NOTE: Hours attending the Leaders' Summit will go toward the coaching certification process.

REGISTER TODAY
There are one or two day options, however, we recommend new coaches attend both days:

Saturday, March 21, 2015 $70. After 2/27/15 - $80.
Saturday & Sunday, March 21 & 22, 2015 $100. After 2/27/15 - $125.

Online registration will close on Fri. March 20, 2015. Registration can also be done at the event.

Questions about the Coach Licensing Process?

Reminder: Attending a NICA Leaders’ Summit is a requirement for obtaining a NICA Coaches License at the level of Head Coach or Assistant Coach.

Questions, please direct them to Josh Kleve, MN League Director.

STILLWATER MTB TEAM

Calvin Jones, team director for the Stillwater Area High School MTB Team, trains 1/2 of their Equipment Manager staff, Will, in the school cafeteria. These are MN League loaner bikes that were in dire need of repair.

Great solution for everyone! The MN League Demo Bikes get fixed up and in return, Isaac and Will are getting lots of good practice for next racing season.

Thank you Will and Isaac!
