Back from a recent trip to Nashville where she performed at a packed downtown venue for the Women's International Music Network, our 13-year-old artist under development, Juliana Wilson, releases her debut single, Blah Blah Blah. Premiered by PopMatters.com this past week, the site's accolades have followed suit pointing out Juliana's raw teen angst and "cheerily misanthropic perspective." Wilson, who was pinned as "the next big thing" by Girls' Life Magazine, also recently became a local hero, on the cover of the arts section in the Staten Island Advance, who suggested Juliana "is poised to be the next Ingrid Michaelson."

From New York to national platforms, the young artist is now receiving worldwide exposure, from online radio and international press to her new relationships with Telefunken Microphones and Fishman Electronics. "Blah Blah Blah" (written by Matty Amendola and Helen Austin) can be streamed now exclusively on SoundCloud.com, with a full-length music video slated to drop soon.

Our very own Matty Amendola spoke up about the industry once again this week during an interview with DrummersResource.com, explaining the "cultural shift" in how art is being appreciated. This 45-minute interview, though on a website dedicated to drummers, delved into topics from learning multiple instruments to starting a business, and the state of the music industry. "Matty is promising a revolution against the current state of the music business – and he very well may be the man to lead the charge." - Drummers Resource. LISTEN HERE

Amendola, who traveled to Nashville with Juliana for NAMM, was also there supporting his relationship with Earthwork's Microphones who just released an interview with Matty and a behind the scenes look at how he uses their FW730 microphones at 825 Records' studio.
