Greetings from Sandefur Family
Lion Family,
First and foremost, on behalf of our family (Lisa, Josiah, Lindley, and Cooper), I would like to thank our TKA family for welcoming us to campus. We continue to be amazed at God’s provision and goodness in uniting us with this school community and are grateful to begin the process of working towards being found faithful in His will for The King’s Academy. As I have shared with those of you whom I have had the opportunity to meet, our faculty and administration will focus on the following three principles as we prepare for the upcoming year: faith, family, and future.
These three principles will be our focus in all that we do on campus. Our number one priority is to develop servant leaders that will change the world for Christ. By keeping Christ our number one priority in all we do, from the classroom to athletic fields of competition, we will seek to disciple young men and women who will understand that they were created by a loving God who wants a personal relationship with them. Secondly, as a family we will seek to grow close together through opportunities involving fellowship and service. From cheering on our Lions, to working together on projects, we will love the body of Christ as He has called us to so clearly in Scripture. And finally, we will prioritize our student’s futures (spiritual, academic, athletic, socially, etc.) in all we offer. We will seek to provide the best possible offerings in all that we do in order to allow our young men and women to be set up for success upon leaving our campus.
During the coming weeks, I will communicate with you in terms of upcoming events, new members of our TKA faculty/staff, areas of prayer needs, etc. I look forward to meeting each of you over the coming weeks and covet your prayers as we seek to prepare for the upcoming year. Again, thank you for welcoming us so generously and Go Lions!
In Christ Alone,
Jeremy Sandefur
