You're never too old to enjoy some good old fashioned outside play! Do you want to build a snowman? We sure do! Another highlight from last week was celebrating the birthdays of Tori and Tucker. Tori brought in pizza and a cookie cake. Tucker and Morgan baked gluten free cookies. It was a tasty celebration. We love being able to mark our birthdays together! | Tuesday was our first day this week, after being off for President's Day. Lunch with Sue was pancakes, bacon, hash browns, and applesauce. These were amazingly fluffy pancakes that were certainly enjoyed by all! When our crew wasn't cooking, they were working hard building shelves and organizing in the Green Room as well as out in the greenhouse. Things are starting to become ship-shape all over, as everyone works to get ready for the busy growing season to come.
The rest of the week was full of many other tasks like Jungle Jam making, cleaning, sanitizing toys, and getting outside to enjoy some winter sunshine. We also found a new salamander friend and built a terrarium for him, using moss and sticks from our property. We even hunted outside for insects for his dinner. Keep saving all your clothing and outerwear items for our fall giveaway. Tell your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers that we will accept donations all year! Clothes for all ages and sizes needed, along with coats, bags, purses, shoes, housewares, books, toys...whatever you think might help someone in need. Bags and boxes for people to carry their "new" items home with them are also needed! Drop items off in the collection barrel or take them up to the Green Room. After sorting mountains of clothes last year, just days before the Giveaway, we knew we needed a new system. Thanks go to Goodness Grows for building shelves and sorting clothing and items this week. Now we have "a place for everything and everything it its place!" We are so very ready for donations to come rolling in! | For I was hungry and you gave me food;

The purpose of the ASL club is to teach attendees of any age about American Sign Language.
