Greetings from.. Well somewhere above Spain on the way to Amsterdam.
Last week I was also mid flight writing this newsletter, you can read about it here.

I have just spent a hectic week in Malaga working at our sister company there. Tomas our head of marketing in UK came with me and we have had an amazing time brainstorming ideas and swapping information with our Spanish colleagues.

The weather has been mostly lovely but we haven't (I can assure) you seen a beach or even a sun lounger all week. But that doesn't mean we didn't enjoy ourselves.
Marketing can be so much fun.

One thing we learned is that Spanish people love to talk and are delighted to give you the feedback we need in order to improve our products and services. You just have to ask. Did you know the the Spanish have the highest number of smart phones per head if the population and are the world's biggest users of social media. To put it another way they love to talk.

Which can cause a problem getting stuff done. All that talking takes up productive time. But that's another problemo.

Traditionally the Spanish give Christmas gifts on Three Kings Day, which falls in January, so the Christmas trading season is very different to In the UK. No sooner has Christmas finished than El Día de Valentín is in full swing, and the Spanish love a bit of romance. So it's all go.
