Richmond, Va. – Sept. 15, 2015HanoverAvenue.com is a new design destination challenging the traditional interior design model with professional room designs and all the tools you need to recreate them at home – layouts, step-by-steps, sources and how-to videos.

Interior designer Anne Tollett began Hanover Avenue in March 2015 to teach others to create rooms that look like they’ve effortlessly evolved over time – and to avoid costly mistakes.

“I kept getting mayday calls from people who tried the DIY route but their rooms were falling short of their vision,” says Anne. “The endless and amazing resources out there can be overwhelming and I found people aren’t always able to pull together seamless rooms.”

At HanoverAvenue.com Anne and her design partners create virtual rooms with complete guides on how to measure, arrange and decorate them. Each room is designed to be flexible to fit a variety of room configurations. Video tutorials explain the designers’ secrets behind the choices in each room. Plus, complete buying guides make each space shopable right from the site.

“My vision is to transform the way people see rooms, devour them and recreate them,” says Hanover Avenue founder Anne Tollett. “I want to teach people what really goes into designing a flawless space.”

HanoverAvenue.com features rooms designed by Anne, plus rooms designed in collaboration with other interior designers and blogger-partners.

Some recent room designs include:

Family-Friendly Modern Living Room (with high and low versions!)
Affordable “High-End” Kitchen (designed with food blogger Chris Scheuer of Café Sucre Farine)
Glam Open-Plan Living Room (designed with Jennifer Schmidt of JWS Interiors)
A True Reader’s Library (designed with blogger Sara Hovis Dickenson of Sarah’s Book Shelves)
All-White Bedroom

Plus, several rooms adapted two ways:

Living Room with Flatscreen and Living Room with Flatscreen Neutral Palette (pictured above)
Bold Basement and Bold Basement as City Loft
Tiny Room and Tiny Room as Big Room

She started with color consultations for clients and went on to become the in-house designer at Wildflower, a well-loved design shop in Austin, before launching Anne Tollett Interiors, which has held offices in Austin, L.A. and Richmond, VA.
