What a great year for the 14th Hamilton Fringe Festival!
From the great audience turnout to the out-pouring of support from the community for our 'Love For All' campaign, we couldn't be more pleased with how it all went down.
A huge thank you to our sponsors, board members, volunteers, artists, and to YOU for making this festival such a great success!
The 2017 Fringe awards were given out at the closing party on Sunday at Serve Ping Pong. And the award goes to...
Best of Fringe: This is Not a Musical: The Musical
Audience Choice Award: El Diablo of the Cards 2.0
Critic's Choice: The Elephant Girls
Best of Venue (Mills Hardware): Gilda: A Tribute to the Beloved Comedienne, Gilda Radner
Best of Venue (Theatre Aquarius): Laser Kiwi
Best of Venue (The Player's Guild): This is Not a Musical: The Musical
Best of Venue (Hamilton Theatre Inc): Swingin' In St. John's

This year, we created the Rainbow Awards to say a special thank you to individuals who made a big contribution to our 'Love For All' sticker campaign to counter the homophobic and sexist messages that defaced the posters of some of our queer and feminist shows.
The Rainbow Awards go to Titus Androgynous and Gay Jesus for organizing a special drag show on the last Saturday of the festival, and to Adam Bryan who created his own stickers too!
Coming this weekend: Landline, a show we're presenting in partnership with Summerworks Performance Festival. Part radio-play, part walking-tour, Landline is a curious exploration of feeling alone together. Your headphones guide you as your travel around the downtown core and share your experience with another audience member in Toronto. Landline is not like anything Hamilton has seen before.
Landline will run from August 11th to 13th - but there are only 14 tickets available per day, so buy your tickets early if you don't want to be disappointed.
