Welcome back to Term 4:
We hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday and are ready for Term 4! Teachers have been busy planning for our students and have many exciting learning opportunities for them ahead. Here are some special events happening this term:

- Year 3/4 and 5/6 Camps
- Celebrate Teacher’s Day
- Prep Transition Program- Ready Set Prep
- Whole school Swimming Program
- Year 3-6 Swimming Carnival
- Whole school transition
- Year 6 Graduation
Our students will be immersed in their learning and teachers and students will celebrate all of the learning gains they have made over the 2023 school year.
Child safety and wellbeing at Malvern Valley Primary School: information for families and the school community
The Victorian Government has announced new Child Safe Standards to further strengthen child safety across organisations, including schools. The new standards recognise the critical importance of families and the broader school community in maintaining and promoting child safety and wellbeing.
Malvern Valley Primary School has reviewed and updated our child safety policies and procedures to ensure they meet the requirements of the new standards. These are available to view on our school’s website.
We are committed to continuous improvement in our approach to child safety and wellbeing and welcome feedback from families and members of our school community on ways we can further strengthen our child safety policies, procedures and practices.
