Tanya Morgan and DTR ink exclusive booking deal

Good morning folks, and welcome to the first day of the last month of 2014. In the spirit of the season, we'd like to joyously announce the latest addition to our talent roster, hip hop darlings Tanya Morgan!

Borne by the underground cyber scene, Tanya Morgan has been a leader in cutting edge collaboration for over a decade. With over twelve completed projects to date, Donwill and Von Pea have built a prolific and innovative Hip Hop résumé. They are sheer momentum as A.V. Club reviews their seminal work Brooklynati as, “A huge evolutionary leap forward from the group’s charming 2006 debut Moonlighting, Brooklynati brings together the whole package: gorgeous beats, thoughtful rhymes, strong song concepts, and a laid-back, cohesive vibe”; while SPINMusic Editor Charles Aaron declared that, “Tanya Morgan are like the sons of De La Soul- soulful, stressed, effortlessly smart flows, intricate production, the whole package.” Their infectious momentum is evident as they never seem to stop moving. Featured at many of most notable showcases like Toronto’s NXNE Festival and the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, Tanya Morgan has shared the stage with Ghostface Killah, Large Professor and the like, while also delivering electric performances at SXSW and A3C.
