Happy Weekend!!

I'm still smiling after attending last weekend's winter block party, hosted by friends Zoe (Zoe Bakes and Bread in 5) and Stephanie (Fresh Tart and Project Vibrancy Meals). There was a heated tent and fire pits for keeping us warm, spectacular food and beverages, and of course the best part, catching up with friends.

If you've been following along the past few weeks, I've been on a good run of baking cookies each Friday. This week I made a recipe that incorporates brown butter, something I haven't yet done with cookies. And can I just say how wonderful those cookies are?! Find a link to the recipe I made in the "CRUMBS: What We Made This Week" section below.

A couple of My Favorite Things this week... I made something super delicious from this friend's cookbook (link HERE), can't wait to share the recipe with you soon! And Blake and I signed up for a beginner course in pickle ball - do you know this sport? We are having a blast with it, so I ordered a couple paddles - a Valentine's Day gift to us. We played on Valentine's Day, and really like these paddles (link HERE).

Thank you so much for joining me here each week, for reading the blog, and for following along on social media. I am so grateful for your company!

Have an awesome weekend!
-Brenda

NEW: On The Blog This Week

This recipe for Candy’s Baked Pork Chops and Stuffing has been a longtime family favorite, with fork-tender pork chops covered in an easy, delicious stuffing. The dish is easy enough for a weeknight meal, awesome enough for a special dinner. And. It can be prepared ahead of time. Total winner!!
