"I pray your week has been a wonderful one full of sunshine, love, and fabulous weather. Happy July 4th, a bit late. I wore my red, white, and blue again today. Keeping the holiday going – it seemed to have come and left quickly. Thankful for the gorgeous day it was here in Northeast Ohio. Summer is finally here. Flowers and gardens are doing well. We had much needed rain too and our 275-gallon rain barrel is full! Thank you, Lord, for that." "Continuing in the holiday as well is my WORD for the week, “FREEDOM”. My thoughts were going every which way. I thought of how when we were created, God created us with free will or “freedom” to choose in every way. We have “freedom” to choose how we will react to a situation, whether it be good or bad. We have the “freedom” to decide to reach out to the hurting or minister to them. “Freedom” to choose what to have to eat, where to live, how to raise our children – the list goes on and on. I love having the “freedom” to worship when and where I want to. Some third world countries do not have that precious “freedom” that some take for granted. Holy Spirit – always remind us how special “freedom” is and to treat it as a priceless gift that we treasure. We have “freedom” because Jesus took our place. We can never repay for this “freedom,” but we can do everything we can to choose all the right “freedoms” that we are given. Let “FREEDOM” ring in us – and let us share that “freedom” with everyone we meet. We have much “freedom” to share – let’s get busy! Have an extraordinary week!" “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” ~ Luke 4:18-19(NIV) ~~~ | Blessing Box Located by the Sanctuary doors, the Blessing Box is always available.
