Prayer Partners: Ukraine

Pray for UKraine

Valued Prayer Partners,

I am sending this separate "Prayer Partner" email to ask that you intercede specifically for a new partner in the ministry of our's here at The King's Academy. Through TKA parent, Greg Gibson, TKA is coming alongside of SALT Ukraine Ministry in the support of a Christian school located in Rivne (pronounced Reevnah), Ukraine. Due to the current nature of the conflict we are not naming the school at this time.

This email is for the purpose of asking you to directly intervene through prayer for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. I had the honor of meeting with Ira, their principal, via zoom this week and was greatly impacted by our conversation. She and her team are working as relief workers and Christian educators at the same time. I assured her that our team and families would pray for her and her team moving forward.

I truly appreciate your willingness to join me in praying for our friends in Christian School Rivne.

In Christ Alone,

Jeremy Sandefur
President/Headmaster
The King's Academy

Specific Prayer Needs

▪ Pray for peace for the nation of Ukraine and a peaceful resolution to this war.
▪ Pray for Principal Ira as she leads her team through community relief and daily educational duties as well.
▪ Pray for their 1st-grade students who are coming back to the school facility because Distance Learning is not working for them.
▪ Pray for safety, logistics, and families as they travel in a war zone.
▪ Pray for their facilities as they are used for relief work. Pray that they are not attacked and that we are able to meet the needs of the community and our students.
▪ Pray specifically for those that are impacted by financial hardships. A lot of parents have lost their jobs and income is gone therefore tuition can not be paid. This is greatly impacting the school as they cannot make payroll for their teachers moving forward.
▪ Pray that funds (specifically $2,597 per month) become available to assist in paying the school staff so they can continue to educate from a Biblical worldview during this time of crisis.
▪ Pray long-term as we are seeking a partnership with TKA for assistance in teaching the English language to our students and stakeholders.
