Seabourn Encore - the jewel in the crown of a fleet of luxury cruise ships

The ship is as strikingly beautiful and as excitingly innovative as any vessel that Seabourn has ever debuted. With just 300 all-veranda suites, Encore is small-ship cruising but with big-ship amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness centre, spa & wellness retreat, and multiple diverse food & beverage outlets (including the signature Grill by Thomas Keller). 14- Day Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia

good morning from Pattaya
exploring Saigon
good morning vietnam

Starting in Singapore, why not include a few nights pre-cruise to re-discover this city? Singapore is known for its ultra-modern skyscrapers combined with a medley of Chinese, Indian and Malay influences, plus some of the best local dining experiences in all of Asia.

One of the highlights of this itinerary are the two multi-night stops, allowing the traveller to dig deeper and get an authentic taste of the local lifestyle in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City.

- Bangkok Cruise Port (Laem Chabang) is a popular stopover with so much to see and do in Bangkok. Tours focus on highlights such as the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, or the gigantic Chatuchak Market, a great place to purchase souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, and street food. Another popular choice for a shore excursion is a visit to the coastal town of Pattaya. The beach resort is just a 30-minute drive from Bangkok Cruise Port (Laem Chabang). Don't miss the extraordinary Sanctuary of Truth (pictured above).

- Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon – is a highlight on any Vietnamese itinerary. From delicious food to beautiful French architecture to an up-and-coming craft beer scene, you'll find no lack of things to do in Ho Chi Minh City. Shop 'til you drop at the markets, or wind your way through backstreets with a local guide eating your way around the city - it's a fantastic city to explore!

Ko Kood – signature “Caviar in the Surf” experience.

Seabourn has discovered an unspoiled tropical island paradise on which to create our signature Caviar in the Surf beach barbecue party. Sugary white sand, swaying palms and limpid waters invite you enjoy watersports, and a sumptuous feast prepared by your peerless Seabourn culinary staff awaits you on this sublime slice of Southeast Asian heaven.

Sihanoukville cambodia

Sihanoukville, Cambodia

Sihanoukville, also known as Kampong Som, is located in southern Cambodia on the Gulf of Thailand, and is Cambodia's only international marine port. Its beaches are the most prominent natural feature of the city, spanning most of the surrounding coastline. Sihanoukville has several cultural sites, including Victory Monument built to symbolize friendship with Vietnam, and Independence Square, constructed in honor of independence and the Cambodians that lost their lives defending their country. Sample Cambodian culture with a shore excursion to Ream National Park to visit a local school and meet with a monk at the community's beautiful temple.

Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur) and Malacca, Malaysia

Port Klang is your portal to the "Garden City" of Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia's famous Batu Caves. Discover Kuala Lumpur's diverse architecture in giant sky scrapers, Malay mosques, Hindu temples, and impressive municipal buildings.

Malacca is a multicultural mosaic of the trade and colonial history of Southeast Asia. From the magnificent Sultanate Palace and the Kampung Kling Mosque to the numerous churches built by the Portuguese and the Dutch, to Hindu and Chinese temples, every ethnic group in search of wealth and power, either earthly or spiritual, has left its mark.

Sonia's cruise highlights

All suites have verandas and full bathrooms with shower, separate bath and double vanities. The food is excellent, the ship beautifully appointed and plenty of space to escape to if you didn’t want to be around others. Don't miss dining at Sushi - for someone who is obsessed with all things Japanese, the food here is spot on and the Japanese staff delightful!

The day at Ko Kood was an absolute highlight - it's now the benchmark for what a Perfect Friday should look like! The water was so clear, the food amazing and eating caviar served from a paddleboard waist-deep in the surf is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
