We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "I pray your week has been good so far. After our crazy weather here last weekend, I think this week is going to be just grand! With plenty of sunshine and warmth. It is only March here in NE Ohio, so anything is possible. I am anxious to get my seeds planted but need to wait a bit. I can start them but not plant outside until our last frost. Need to chill and wait for the right time. All things in its time." "Which brings me to my Word for this week, “FIRST.” I will always remember a great lesson my dad said so often. Always put God “first” and everything will fall into place. I try every day to do just that. Do I always succeed? No, but no matter if we do or we don’t, God loves us just the same. In our everyday life, where does God fit it? Have we made it a priority to always put Him “first?” Or do we sometimes get up, get ready for work, hurry out the door and realize we didn’t even tell our Savior good morning? Ouch! I stepped on my toes with that one. We (I) need to slow it down a bit and really concentrate on putting God “first” and foremost. As soon as we wake up, “first” we need to breathe the Holy Spirit in. When we put Him “first,” our day will run so much smoother. Not without bumps in the road but the bumps won’t affect us near as much when putting God “first.” And this is just a bonus note – if we put God “first,” He will guide our path to reach out to someone else that needs to see God “first.” Holy Spirit, keep nudging our hearts to always remember who needs to come “first” in our lives. Putting Him “first,” we will shine His light so brightly for others to see. Seek ye “first” and see how your day goes." In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success. ~ Proverbs 3:6 (TLB) | March Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11:00am.
