This November is a special month. I'm the granddaughter of a woman born in 1883 who always had her own business and the daughter of a woman born in 1913 who was tops in the fashion illustration game. They and women like them, were the groundbreakers who allowed me and others of my generation to have the great luxury to pursue our dreams, mine as a photographer and now as an entrepreneur with this business. I find it only fitting that I introduce to you Hillary c. 1972.

Hilda Glasgow (1913-2004) was a top fashion illustrator of the mid 20th century. She was also my mother. Her work appeared in Vogue and clients included Saks Fifth Avenue and Bonwit Teller. These wonderful pen and ink drawings were hidden away for more than 50 years in a white cabinet in her Manhattan apartment and now I am thrilled that the world is getting to enjoy them all over again!
