Happy Fall !,
We've been busy this year. Summer came and went with travel to Morocco, Portugal, Sweden and the Philippines (my motherland). We're excited for what the future holds.
For me personally it feels like a pivotal time. When I started Sol Haus Design (more than 10 years ago) I was mostly interested in creating a positive impact, albeit with small residential projects for private clients. Now we're delighted to work with clients in the public sector - from the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History to local jurisdictions to design sustainable housing developments. It feels good to be doing something useful.
With escalating real estate costs, the interest for our services has increased towards smaller, efficient designs - particularly with prefabs for ADUs and primary dwellings.
We're delighted to be working with clients on an array of projects aligned with our mission - to provide beautiful, sustainable and affordable housing accessible for everyone.
