Winter at GG

This has been a short week, since we were off for Presidents' Day on Monday and had a snow day on Wednesday. But, we have still accomplished plenty. We spent time emptying the buckets in the warehouse, making Jungle Jam, preparing lunch, cleaning, and more. Next week we will head back to Whispering Pines for another visit there. Since the first day of March is next Friday, before too long it will be time to plant. We can't wait!

CSA ~ Good for You & for GG!

CSA time is coming fast! Now is the time to reserve your share of fresh produce! Contact us by April 30 to get the EARLY BIRD price on a Weekly Share. The final deadline to subscribe is May 27. Limited number of shares available. Talk to any GG board member if you want more information, or pick up a CSA brochure from the GG table. You can also help out by spreading the word to friends and family members. Tell them about Goodness Grows, our staff and clients, and all the hard work that goes into growing delicious and healthy produce!

GG Restaurant Fundraisers

Some of our area restaurants have programs that allow you to dine in and earn money for non-profit organizations. We have an event at BJ's in March and Chipotle in April. Grab a flyer (or several) from our GG table, share with your friends, and eat dinner out for a great cause to help Goodness Grows earn money for our programs. Every dollar counts!

Coat & Clothing Drive

Ongoing Outreach/Mission Opportunity
Drop items off in the collection barrel or take them up to the Green Room, anytime throughout the year! Let your friends and family know that we accept donations year-round.

Local Missions

Check out the round table in the Great Room as well as the bulletin board. We always have information available about organizations in our area that are making a difference in people's lives, like the Rescue Mission.

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.

Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
