With only a four day week, we still managed to accomplish plenty of tasks. We spent time caring for our special critters...like the very cheerful crayfish in the photo...as well as the beautiful sprouts in the greenhouse. So many things are growing and it makes us so happy! Stop in to check it out whenever you get a chance. With this springlike weather, we were able to get outside and do some trimming and cleaning up. We pruned trees and branches, checked on paths in the woods, and even enjoyed exploring the creek. Nothing like some time out in nature, having fun together! Today we worked on more catnip toys, some cleaning, and had a great time watching the start of the courtyard project. The demo of the old, cracked cement was lots of fun to watch. GG works with students and adults with disabilities, providing vocational habilitation training in a fun, hands-on way. Giveaway - October 19, 2024 In order to be as efficient as possible, we have made some changes this year. We will now collect donations between January 1 and September 30. Clean, useful items may be dropped off under the overhang at the back of the warehouse or in the barrel by the library table in the Great Room. We will not be accepting large furniture, televisions, car seats, and computers. If you need help unloading, Goodness Grows folks are usually available weekdays from 9:15am-1:45pm.
