...to make your Pinterest boards look awesome. Okay, we'll touch on that in a minute but first some of my favorite finds. Social Warfare plugin. I've heard nothing but awesome. If you don't have the Pinterest image in the post (but only in the backend of your site), it gets pulled up when someone hits the Pinterest share button. Super awesome for those that prefers landscape photos. Promoted Pins options and rules. This was a great Blab with tons of information. Okay, back to the 5 things.

5 things you can do in 15 minutes to make your Pinterest page look awesome!

1) Change the top 10 board covers -- avoid text, use reds, yellows and dark orange for this time of year. If you're not into that, pick one palate and change them all to that hue.

2) Take a sweep through your Pinterest analytics and move up the best boards. Go to --> Your Profile -->Clicks --> last 30 days. Look at the boards you own with the most clicks. Move 2 of those boards to the top row of your Pinterest boards. Then add a few new pins. (Caveat -- if they don't fit your brand, don't move them.)

3) Move any seasonal related boards to the top

4) Check the overall order of boards. Do they rank in order of importance to your brand? If your people like blogging tips then it should be towards the top and then anything related to blogging, next social media tips, next entrepreneur and business help.

5) Update your profile description. Does it say what you want? Some people open up their account, write it and forget about it. Take out hashtags, take out your URL (it's already right below) and make sure that your name isn't too long so it cuts with the (...) at the end.

The important check in this 15 minutes is to make sure your page looks like you or your brand. When someone lands on the page, does it communicate your message? If not, the simple tweaks above will help you on your way.

Happy Pinning!
