Two different concepts, two interactive FUN sessions! Due to the success of past years' dual offerings, you will again have the option of choosing between two session types. Both are described in more detail below!

HOLIDAY MAGIC:

Embrace the magic of the holidays as we bring the season to life by capturing the most important part, your family! Three custom sets are being designed in navy, gold and evergreen detailing and we hope to bring a little holiday glee by helping you deck the halls with some captured memories!

Colors, props and designs are full of richness and class and as such will play with a warm and beautiful color palette. Our white brick set will encompass an 80 inch gold floral arch adorn with the talents of a local floral designer. It's the perfect backdrop to express the tiding of the season while keeping it simple enough to be displayed year round. Our second set includes a paper circle backdrop with shades of champagne shimmer funneling down into a gold ombré. Think New Year's Party with confetti, balloons, party blowers. Simple props will entertain the adults, while the children can focus on maintaining their perfect smiles ;) And our third and final set is our most timeless one with a navy velvet couch set against similarly colored variegated wall. It will be PERFECTION for capturing that group shot of the whole crew that you know the grandparents will love!

In typical True Mini fashion, we aim to create an experience that is both fun and memorable for all those involved, especially the littlest of clients!

This set will be shot exclusively in the natural light portion of the studio. This corner provides the most AMAZING dreamy, natural light! Because of this, session times are limited based on the quality of natural light available during the day. These sessions will take place between 9-3pm only. See available time slots through the below booking system.

This is a great option for some updated family photos and more classic shots of the kids. The goal will be to capture some family photos, separate siblings shots and individuals as time allows.

The below inspiration images will give you a feel for the design of these sets and the palette of colors that will be used. You will receive a link to our Pinterest board after booking to give you a more depth feel of the sessions.

HOLIDAY BOX SESSION:

The Holiday Box is back for the third year in a row! These truly create the most unique holiday cards and way of capturing some unique memories.

We have modernized the common collage and upgraded the photo booth experience! If you are looking to create a one of a kind holiday card, this it the session you want! Perfect for kids who like to express themselves and it speaks to the unposed, unscripted personality of your adorable little! This is a super playful set and the idea is to encourage the kiddos to have some fun and act a little silly to really showcase their personality. Box sessions produce extraordinary wall art of your child! Perfect for those holiday gifts and a true conversation piece!

We will have a bunch of simple Christmas props on hand to use for your shoot or if you want to personalize it even more, feel free to bring some of your own. It is perfect for showcasing a holiday card with " A Few of Our Favorite Things" kind of theme (i.e., favorite sports, hobbies, stuffies, etc.).

And "the box" doesn't have to be just for kids! Parents can jump in and be part of the action too! We always encourage the adults to get silly and creative as well!

Image selections for this session will be made from a proofing gallery of at least 15 images. Your session includes a 9 image collage (perfect for 5x5 sized cards) as well as the individual digital files of your chosen images for the collage.

Box sessions will ONLY take place from 3-5pm on each of the sessions. See registration link for available openings.

Registration: is open now with newsletter recipients getting first notification before social media and our blog!! See below for how to book! Updates on registration will be posted to the Amy True Photography Facebook/Instragram page and blog. Book asap to reserve your spot!

Date: Saturday, November 9th through Monday, November 11th, 2019

Times Available: 9:00-3:00pm for Holiday Magic sessions and 3-5pm for Holiday Box sessions. See booking page for available spots.

Location: Amy True Photography 90 Bridge Street, Suite 437 Westbrook, Maine

Cost: $275 for a 15 minute session for up to a family of four (2 adults, 2 children). Additional participants can be added to either session type for $25 each.

HOLIDAY MAGIC includes 6 digital images with print release to print as you like. 3 sets will be available and we will attempt to shoot on all three as long as your child(ren) are willing and time allows.

HOLIDAY BOX includes a 9 image collage as well as the individual digital files of your chosen images for the collage.

Images will be delivered NO LATER than December 4th via an online gallery from which to make your selections.

Open to: Children and families and even your well behaved pets! Babies who are not able to sit solidly by themselves will have to be held by someone who can. We cannot guarantee individual shots of babies by themselves due to the styling of our sets. Please plan to be in the pictures with your child if this is the case.

Suggested Dress for all sessions: For Holiday Magic sessions, dress it up in your holiday best and if you want to bring more than one outfit, that is fine too. Just realize changing will cut into your shooting time. For Holiday Box sessions, there are so many ways you can style this! Bright and colorful works best (no whites please!).Our Pinterest mood board will offer some visual suggestions as well as more insight into set styling and design. Depending on the kind of session you book, we will have suggestions on what will work best. You will be emailed a link to our board once your registration is complete.

REGISTRATION:
Head over to our Big Cartel page by clicking here: www.amytruephotography.bigcartel.com and follow these three steps!

1) Pick your date, time and session type (Holiday Magic or Box)
2) Pay a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot
3) Complete the booking contract After submitting your deposit, you will receive an email with a link to our booking contract. Please fill this out asap as your session is not considered booked until BOTH the deposit and contract is received. Your spot will not be held without this contract, so please make sure to complete this step!

And you will be good to go! You will receive a booking confirmation email within 72 hours of submission (confirmation is sent manually so please allow time).

This mini session is only offered for three days and it’s sure to fill VERY quickly (Christmas is always our busiest time for True Mini Sessions and we sell out every single year).
